Mamamia, Australia's #1 women's media brand is looking for an experienced Audio Producer to join the team.The Audio Producer will be responsible for editing material and assistant in sound development for a wide variety of podcasts. 

About the Role

As an Audio Producer, you will be managing the technical side of the podcast, focusing in particular on editing content, sourcing compelling audio grabs, cleaning audio and mixing final productions and at times remote recording. The Audio Producer is responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting and distribution. They will also assist in studio recordings. 

  • Edit, build and mix 5-6 podcast episodes weekly as required using Pro Tools
  • Work with the commercial team to deliver quality sponsorships
  • Create short audio promos to share on social media
  • Develop sound design and imaging for each show
  • Source compelling grabs and actuality to add to shows
  • Work with producers and executive producers to ensure tone is in line with the Mamamia Brand

About You

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience as an Audio Engineer
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, sound design or sound engineering preferred
  • Experience working in a metro Breakfast or Drive radio market preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of Protools
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Self motivated and enthusiastic team player
  • Strategic and creative thinker with strong interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organisation, attention to detail and time management skills 
  • Ability to accept feedback and apply in a timely manner
