Mamamia is looking for an experienced Senior Video Producer to manage our Commercial, Trade and Events video content. From concept to completion this individual will be confident at storyboarding ideas, scripting, directing talent, lighting, audio, filming, editing and delivering the final product. You will be a social media native, who understands how to capture and retain an audience's attention and a true brand champion for Mamamia.


About the role

  • Ideate, script, shoot, animate and edit content of high quality to engage the Mamamia audience and grow our video viewership.
  • Manage post-production product outputs - producing quality edits, graphics and animation, and educating junior members on skills and technique to effectively delegate these tasks
  • Identify and pitch unique and compelling video ideas for commercial, Trade and virtual events projects that stretch cross-platform
  • Drive understanding throughout Mamamia of effective video tactics, maintaining a cutting edge view of video trends both for our audience and broadly.
  • Tight collaboration with social team on contributing short form video content for social engagement across Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook.
  • Manage Junior editors and producers in effectively delivering on their tasks and role

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in media, communications, video production or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of proactivity and editorial judgement
  • Experience in branded entertainment and digital marketing
  • Background in video production and proven skills in Adobe Suite
  • Strong/developing post-production and animation skills
  • Experience in directing Filming with sound studio lighting and on location lighting/ audio skills
  • Big picture creative thinker with the ability to find the connective tissue between a variety of creative ideas and explain their ideas to teammates, influencers, and clients
  • Highly capable writing copy for pitch decks, as well as experience in treatments and scripts
