Australia's largest women's media company is looking for a full-time Email and Social Insights Manager to provide management and analysis of audience growth and engagement.

We are looking for an Email and Social Insights Manager who will play a key role in Audience Development team, shaping the strategic direction of content promoted on Social Media and Email (EDM) across the Mamamia network.

Reporting to the Head of Audience, the ideal candidate is equal parts creative and analytical with the ability to interpret and draw meaning from data that can be turned into action. Being across emerging audience trends and social platform updates is also essential.

About the role

  • AUDIENCE ANALYSIS: Perform regular performance audits across Mamamia's social media platforms, interpreting findings into actionable insights for the wider team.
  • EMAIL MANAGEMENT: Be the subject matter expert for email (EDM) for Mamamia, facilitating all aspects of EDMs. This includes assisting with implementing best practice, reporting on performance, and being instrumental in the development of growth strategies.
  • PLATFORM MANAGEMENT: Be the point of contact for troubleshooting fixes to email and social media tools, managing the onboarding and offboarding of team members to relevant platforms, and performing other ad hoc admin tasks as required.

About you

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing/Media/Communications.
  • Sound knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest best practice.
  • Strong analytical skills, confident collecting and interpreting performance data from a range of sources including Google Analytics, Crowdtangle, and Supermetrics.
  • Experience creating EDMs and managing an email program (bonus if you're familiar with Mailchimp).
  • A basic understanding of SEO principles is also a plus but not essential.
  • Responsive, agile, innovative and calm under pressure, with the ability to solve problems swiftly and accurately.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Enthusiast and proactive approach to learning new skills.
  • Ability to give and receive effective feedback with curiosity and respect.
  • Ability to adapt a measured approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mature, responsible, trustworthy and able to understand how to handle confidential information.
