Branded Content Executive
Mamamia is on the lookout for a Branded Content Executive to join our best-in-class Editorial team.

What we're looking for.
At Mamamia, the Branded Content Executive will be instrumental in responding to briefs and creating engaging written and social content that meets Mamamia's style and tone while delivering the key messages of our brand partners. Working closely with the editorial team and reporting to the Branded Content Manager, you'll develop great ideas for our clients and have a keen eye for detail.
Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:
- Work with the Branded Content Manager, Strategy, Sales, and Brand Partnerships to develop branded content ideas.
- Create branded content campaigns for clients, including social media, website, and video content.
- Edit, write, and ensure branded content is SEO-friendly, on-brand, and meets client requirements.
- Select images for articles, work with Editorial Assistants for uploads, and occasionally upload content yourself.
- Collaborate with the Branded Content Manager and Social team to create tailored social media ideas.
- Generate and develop branded content ideas for projects with minimal Strategy team input, involving editorial resources as needed.
- Plan and deliver branded social and digital storytelling concepts on time and within budget.
- Oversee campaign execution with the Branded Content Manager and Brand Partnerships team to achieve client goals.
- Ensure our branded content meets TGA and Ahpra guidelines.
Now, a bit about you.
- At least 2-3 years experience in a similar role (Editorial and/or Commercial experience preferably)
- Experience working in a branded content agency/direct client highly regarded
- Strong copywriting and editorial capabilities
- Experience in the use of and navigation of key social media platforms, for example: Facebook and Instagram (priority), Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube.
- Strong understanding of the role and purpose of content campaigns across a variety of client categories
- Strong understanding of strategic planning of content across all social media platforms
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO experience
- Previous experience in social or website content creation
- Ability to give and receive effective feedback with curiosity and respect
- A team player who takes ownership of responsibilities, communicates effectively and gives and receives feedback with honesty, respect, curiosity, and openness.
- Ability to prioritise the needs and perspectives of our audience and commercial partners in decision-making and problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to adapt a measured approach and drive process improvement initiatives and solve problems creatively in a fast-paced environment.
