About the role

  • Create and implement an Audience Development strategy
  • Optimise all daily content for search engines and manage SEO
  • Manage and build communities across Mamamia platforms to boost engagement
  • Grow email subscribers list, build engaging and on-brand email marketing funnel and grow traffic from email marketing
  • Report on and utilise data to provide meaningful insights and inform the editorial strategy
  • Develop audience growth targets
  • Work closely with the commercial team to provide innovative solutions to maximise revenue opportunities

About you

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Media, Communications and/or Marketing (or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • In depth understanding of SEO and SEO strategy
  • Knowledge of mainstream social media platforms
  • Experience leading teams and influencing stakeholders to achieve outcomes
  • Solid understanding of Google Analytics and Chartbeat
  • Experience in A/B and multivariate testing highly desirable
  • Goal driven with the ability to adapt to change and new opportunities
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
