Mamamia, Australia's premier women's media network is looking for a Social Media Assistant. Supporting the Audience Development team this position is responsible for executive social media campaigns and producing content to increase brand engagement and awareness. 

About the Role

  • Community Management of all Mamamia facebook groups, instagram and twitter
  • Provide weekly reports for each platform that demonstrates audience growth and engagement on platforms. 
  • Monitor traffic referrals from third parties.  
  • Maintain an effective and strategic automated email marketing sequence
  • Execute and optimize paid Facebook amplification for branded content / events 
  • Execute Insta Stories
  • Build high-quality and high-performing Daily morning EDM
  • Ensure regular distribution of organic content across social platforms
  • Instagram posting on Instagram accounts (stories, live videos and posts)
  • Ad hoc execution for brand specific campaigns

About You

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role (preferably in the digital media industry)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications/Media/Marketing
  • Sound knowledge of multiple social media platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to plan and manage competing deadlines and priorities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proactive and resourceful with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Good sense of judgement and practicality
