Mamamia, the premier women's media company is looking for an Executive Producer to come on board and lead our high performing team of producers. You will be responsible for delivering high quality podcasts across the Mamamia Podcast Network, if this sounds like an opportunity you would love, apply today!

About the Role

  • Responsible for the overall production of our two daily shows; The Quicky and The Spill.
  • Conduct relevant research and book high calibre guests to appear on the show
  • Work closely with the broader editorial team to ensure content is in the Mamamia tone, relevant and on brand.
  • Compile relevant reports regarding podcast performance across set suite of shows
  • Work with the Audience Development/Social team to promote content across Mamamia platforms
  • Coordinate cross promotional schedules and have creative oversight of promos for each podcast in assigned portfolio - ensure producers are executing
  • Provide regular feedback to producers and talent on each podcast to ensure optimal show performance
  • Manage a team of producers within your portfolio
  • Support the Senior Executive Producer & Head of Podcasts on tasks as required
  • Produce & Edit shows as required

About You

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Producer (radio or podcast)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, radio communications preferred
  • Excellent research and communication skills
  • Highly organised and great attention to detail
  • Ability to identify interesting story angles
  • Sound knowledge of talent management skills
  • Experience managing and overseeing a team
  • Good ear for audio storytelling
  • Ability to give and receive effective feedback with curiosity and respect
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt a measured approach in a fast paced environment
  • A strong commitment to continuous process improvement, initiatives and ability to solve problems creatively
  • Possess a PMA (Positive Mental Attitude)
